I bought a beautiful 52-inch panasonic plasma with a hospital-grade wall mount for $200 last year. I was using a 225-pound Sony Trinitron all the way up until that time.

I think it would be fun to build a flight simulator akin to yours, but I’ve neither the money nor the time. Enjoy!
